IMA Nova’s® service technicians are factory trained to install, debug, operate and fine tune packaging machinery. We can provide a complete program including uncrating, start-up, commissioning and training. Additionally, IMA Nova® offers preventative maintenance, service contracts and PMMI certified trainers. We have a great service team that work out of our facility in Leominster, Massachusetts, as well as technicians based on the west coast and in Canada.
IMA Nova’s® Preventive Maintenance Program
In today’s competitive business environment, companies are looking for new ways to improve profitability. One way to do this is to reduce the costs associated with manufacturing.
In the purchase of manufacturing equipment, the capital cost is fixed and is a small percentage of overall life-cycle costs associated with equipment. Operating costs can easily grow out of control due to unscheduled downtimes, lost production, and maintenance costs.
With this in mind, IMA Nova® has introduced its preventive maintenance program to help reduce and control these costs; thus improving production and profitability.
Each preventive maintenance contract will be customized to meet your specific needs and will include:
- A predetermined discount on all of our Genuine OEM Products, including parts, change parts, service rates, in house repairs, training programs, etc.
- 24-hour response time (weather permitting) during the term of the contract.
- Initial evaluation of all your Nova equipment.
- Cost of doing general maintenance on your equipment. General maintenance includes items such as cleaning condensers, lubricating grease fittings, replacing gearbox lubricant, checking motor brushes, testing backup alarms and batteries, etc. It does not include any parts needed that were found defective, or the labor involved in changing out the parts.
- Detailed report upon completion of each PM visit.
- Recommend critical spare parts after completion of 1st PM visit.
- Safety inspection to ensure equipment meets OSHA standards.
- Advising your mechanics how to reduce changeover time and improve reliability.
- Answering any set-up, operational or maintenance questions you may have.
- Informing you about available upgrades.
- Reviewing new products and assisting with machine set up tips
